The 5th Music Pedagogy Conference in Debrecen provided an opportunity for researchers, performers and teachers of music, musicology and music education to exchange ideas, learn about and discuss new research.

Biotechnology is one of the fastest growing fields of science: pharmaceuticals, medicine, agriculture, food and the environment are all using such techniques. The University of Debrecen launched the biotechnology programme in 1987, and it has been available as a stand-alone BSc course for three years.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Food Science and Environmental Management and the Faculty of Science and Technology will host an international conference this year as part of the Debrecen University Symposium.
