Science and education cooperation opportunities were discussed at the University of Debrecen on Monday by Nebraska Secretary of State Robert Evnen. The meeting focused on joint research in agriculture and health sciences.

The University Network for Research Collaboration: One Belt, One Road Science and Technology Initiative (IUNRC) will hold its annual Presidential Roundtable at the University of Debrecen next year, as decided at this year's meeting of the body in China. At the event in Chengdu, it was also decided that the University of Debrecen will serve as co-chair for the next two-year term.
The Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CERIC) has presented the work of the University of Debrecen as a major research achievement. Applied research at the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, focuses on aerogels.
